Dr. Dan Pop is a dentist based in Liverpool with a postgraduate diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics and advanced clinical training in implantology and oral surgery. But credentials aside, what actually drives his daily practice is a simple, uncompromising conviction: treat the cause, not just the consequence.

That means looking far beyond the teeth. A crowded arch isn't just an aesthetic problem — it frequently points to an underdeveloped jaw, a compromised airway, or a systemic pattern that will keep causing problems if you only address the surface.

Dan trained in Romania, worked across the Isle of Man and the UK, and completed his postgraduate orthodontic diploma at the renowned London Dental Institute in 2024. That international journey exposed him to a wide spectrum of dental philosophies — and made him increasingly sceptical of the extraction-first orthodontic model that still dominates much of UK practice.

His clinical preference is to develop and expand: to give the human face what it biologically needs rather than take away healthy teeth simply because it seems inconvenient to fit them.
